Centershift - (through MRI Network), March 2007 - September 2007 (7 months)

As a member of the Store 4.0 team, I was involved with the next generation development project of their existing Self Storage Management Application. I was specifically assigned to develop the business logic associated with the rental transactions. These transactions included: discounts, waives, assessments, reversals and more. These PL/SQL packages were being called by a VB frontend application, and utilized Oracle 10g pipelined table functions to return the results.

Georgia Dept of Community Health - (through Exevision), July 2005 - February 2007 (1 year 8 months)

Converted and refactored an already existing application code base for Georgia State Health Department. The code baseline originated from an earlier implementation at Utah States Health Department. The scope of the conversion project involved 100+ tables, 50+packages, 50+ complex forms. Tools involved were Oracle Designer used to generate the database, tables, packages as well as the forms. Oracle reports were used to create reports. Conversion process took us 11 months. Continued to maintain and support the production system throughout the next 9 months.

Created custom extension to Order Entry module of Oracle E-Business Suite.

Department of Workforce Services - (through TekSystems), July 2000 - September 2002 (2 years 3 months)

I developed a reliable and fast "job search and matching" API service. This API was one of key components of the project. The technologies applied were as follows: PL/SQL and "meta-data search terms" were used to dynamically build SQL queries which were then used to populate an Oracle global temp table where final output was returned. In addition to this I also managed the conversion of legacy data during implementation. This included the following: merging of multiple sources of data, scheduling and coordination of long jobs, tuning of scripts. I also provided training and mentoring on SQL,PL/SQL, Forms and Reports.

Merit Medical Systems - (Independently), July 1998 - June 2000 (2 years)

I designed and developed a custom WIP transaction extension to Oracle Application. This significantly improved the efficiency and accuracy of the process. The previous processes involved navigating to six separate screens in most cases entering redundant data for each transaction. The new process was a single screen which defaulted most data and allowed several transactions to be entered in one batch. Improved forecast data input process including, use of excel spreadsheet for data input, SQL scripts to import the spreadsheet data. Also provided many support and maintenance related fixes to reports and forms in the Oracle E-Business Suite.

Team Lead / Developer, 3Com/Megahertz, July 1993 - December 1997 (4 years 6 months)

Provided support for key high availability manufacturing applications in a 7x24 plant environment. I remained on staff through two mergers while becoming the key senior technical person for all manufacturing related applications.
